The planting designs I create, are crafted to suit the taste of the individual client, and include plants which will thrive in the local conditions. A design for a border or bed benefits from having some structural and evergreen planting which will be present all year as well as interest in foliage and flowers which can vary through the seasons.

I am a qualified and experienced garden designer, and my degree in biology, specialising in botany and ecology gives me an in-depth appreciation of the conditions plants need in order to thrive, and enables me to select the right plants for the local conditions in the garden.

I have designed, advised on, carried out soil preparation and planted borders and beds in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London and Buckinghamshire.

I provide mentoring for new gardeners, to support them in gaining knowledge and confidence and to assist with the care of plants.

I also provide horticultural care, including visits to carry out pruning, tidying, planting of seasonal bedding, and to plan future improvements.
